Les Mills Combat My Journey Begins

Les Mills Combat My Journey Begins
I decided that I would use the Les Mills Combat workout program from Beachbody as my main workout program. Combat is a 60 workout program that uses Mixed Martial Arts, Cardio and strength training to deliver a very effective regimen.

I do plan on supplementing the Les Mills workouts with workouts from Focus T25 and 10 Minute Trainer and will keep track of the workouts in Beachbody's WOWY gym workout calendar.

In addition to recording my workouts, I will be tracking some body measurements including my weight, waist, biceps, chest, and thighs.

Les Mills Combat, My Journey Begins-Goals

Okay, my goals. I want to track the measurements around my waist, biceps, and chest because one of my goals is to add muscle in the shoulders and bulk up my arms a bit. I also want to lose the roll around my waist. Those measurements will help me keep track of those goals.

In addition to the above I want to lose about 10 more pounds. Since I finished my P90X routine, I have put on a few pounds so my starting weight is 198. My target weight will be 185. We will see if I can lose weight and bulk up at the same time.

Les Mills Combat My Journey Begins-Support

For support, I will utilize Beachbody message boards and Facebook groups that a sponsored by Beachbody. I will also look for additional groups where people have similar interests (non-Beachbody) and interact with them as well. Should be fun!

Les Mills Combat My Journey Begins-Nutrition

Okay, last but not least, I will be making some changes to my diet. I will give up the Ice Cream treat that I love and eat way too much of and beer. I will also be using Shakeology, E&E, and Results and Recovery Formula, and a multi-vitamin. I haven't decided yet if I will add an additional protein shake or creatine to give me a boost with the muscle building stuff. We will see about that later.
